Open surgery can be used for anything URGENT or issues that need to be dealt with by a doctor ON THE DAY.
It can usually be very busy with a long wait to be seen, more recently the wait has been up to four hours.
If you think your problem can wait, then please make a booked appointment to see the GP.
If you think your problem can be discussed over the phone then please arrange a telephone consultation and the GP will call you back.
Issues such as renewal of sick-lines or advice regarding medication can be left as a message at reception which will be passed to a GP to action.
